Happy Resurrection Weekend, sis!
Whether you’re deep in your walk with Christ or still figuring things out, I want to welcome you with love and no judgment. This space is for real-life women like us—moms, caregivers, nurses, survivors—who carry a lot and still show up with faith.
Let’s talk about Easter, but make it real, relatable, and transformational.
What Is Easter All About, Really?
Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. After being crucified on the cross for our sins, He rose again on the third day—defeating death and making a way for us to walk in new life (Luke 24:6-7 NIV).
It’s not just a story—it’s a reminder that no matter how broken, overwhelmed, or weary we feel, resurrection is possible. It’s a call to rise again.
Motherhood + Resurrection: What’s the Connection?
Sis, we’ve all had those days—when we’re doing the most, yet still feel like we’re falling short. Between work shifts, wiping noses, managing schedules, and trying to be everything to everyone… it’s easy to feel buried under it all.
But Easter whispers something powerful:
“You don’t have to stay there.”
Every act of care, every silent prayer, every hard choice to heal instead of shut down—that’s resurrection power in real life.
From Cross to Crib: New Life in the Everyday
Let’s shift the scene from the cross to your crib—your home, your life.
The same power that raised Jesus from the grave is at work in YOU (Romans 8:11 NIV). That means you can rise from burnout, self-doubt, fear, and even the pain of your past.
You’re not just surviving anymore—you’re walking in newness.
How Do We Live It Out?
Here are some resurrection-aligned rhythms to try this week:
- Rest without guilt. Even God rested (Genesis 2:2).
- Speak life over your children, even when you’re exhausted.
- Spend time in the Word, even if it’s five minutes before your shift.
- Celebrate small wins—that load of laundry, that prayer you whispered, that “yes” to help when it felt vulnerable.
You Are So Love
You are doing better than you think, sis.
You are not alone in your healing.
And you are worthy of resurrection power in your everyday life.
A Prayer for You, Sis
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of resurrection. Thank You that through Jesus, I don’t have to stay stuck in shame, fear, or overwhelm. Remind me daily that I am made new in You. Give me strength as a mother, grace as a nurse, and joy as Your daughter. Help me rise—again and again—with You as my foundation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Have a blessed week Sis!!
